The purpose of this project is to explore the significance of the existence of psychic media. In order to test if it could better bring confidence and peace to people through fortune-telling, we built a fortune-telling box for the street.
We first interviewed a professor of psychology who explained to us the meaning of the existence of psychic media and some psychological theories that psychic media might use. Then we made some simple lucky charms and experimented with the people around us.
We found that the psychic media's positive psychological hint could help more people, so we made a portable psychic media prop and named it Fudence. This means future and confidence. We designed this set of tools and the rules based on the research results. Then we went to the crowded square to practice; many people expressed their ideas and problems and accepted our encouragement and predictions.
