Radiation Protection Centre
Personal Work , 2019
This public information film is about Mr. Robinson's fear of electromagnetic radiation and how to solve his troubles.
Radiation is not a solved problem at the moment. With respect to both parties' views, I hope to find a balance in my project and find a rational and useful solution to irrational fears. I have summarised some effective and explicit content about the answer. Concerning public information films, I hope to present a relatively relaxed atmosphere so that the audience can learn from the story and reduce fear.

Mr Robinson
My original intention was to help people who are scared and confused about radiation in life. Having checked the relevant knowledge and official information, I found that most people do not accept natural science; therefore, I found that it should be used as an experiment in order to alleviate everyone's fears. Finally, I turned the results and ideas of the previous research into a book.

My next step was to find a balance that made both sides of the conversation acceptable. Thus, I recorded the process of my experiment relating to how to avoid radiation in everyday life. I showed it to the audience. For example, metal can block radiation. Initially, I tried a relatively novel editing method, but it made me feel less noticeable.

Public information films are more suitable for this project. Still, many similar movies in the past have left a horrible impression, so I made a more relaxed setting for the film's style and story and set a few rules for radiation protection. Pass it on to people in an easy way.
