Rhyl Sky Gallery
Team work in three , 2019
We went to Rhyl to gather more people at the beach to enjoy all this, which was the original intention. As a result, we prepared some blank kites and tried to customise some kites for some people; painting on blank kites also helped people to express themselves better; the activity created increased interaction among families.

We first communicated with the local history club and learned that kites were a popular entertainment method in the local area. We wanted to use this sport to attract everyone to better gather at the beach, so we went to buy and try some of the local shops' kites, but we found that these kites are difficult for beginners to control.

Afterwards, we went back to London to make some simple kites and then returned to Rhyl to take some pictures and make portrait kites. By doing this, we hope to make this activity more interesting, and that people will adopt their attitudes to better show the city and attract more people to participate.

On the day of the event, we prepared many blank kites for the first-time participants to draw. During the event, many passers-by took part; many adults who had been resting on the side guided their children to fly kites. The activity brought laughter and vitality to the beach.
